I’m guessing it was sold as an SS and was rebadged?

So a Chevy SS/Holden Commodore with a Cadillac badge? Da hell? >>>:-[[[

Yup

Yup.
And the hideous wheels just came along the way somewhere I guess.

I believe it's badged as a Commodore SS-V. Maybe the badge is shared between the two manufacturers.

The wheels aren’t that bad...

Based on Google images you’d be correct

I’ve seen a white one where I live like this. The only thing is it still had the Chevy badge on the steering wheel. I feel of you’re going to rebadge something, do it all the way.

Not the same badge.
Holden:
Cadillac:

Chevy offers the Holden badges on the exterior of the car as one of the few options available for the SS.

Really? Huh. Didn’t know that

It was just a guess anyway

This is exactly the kind of rare vehicle the traditional “enthusiast” want every car company to make. (. ..but of course expect everyone else to buy them because, well...they, personally, just don’t quite like the look of the cup holders, or the road feel lacks the visceral Ferrari-feel...or trunk space is 6% less than others. )
Yet, it’ll be these same “special Snowflakes” that will collectively bitch when it’s discontinued because GM apparently has their head up their @ss...not because of the big different between what people profess they want vs. what they actually buy, but just “because”.
IMHO, the highly acclaimed “golden age” of performance cars is here and now. Not the 1950's or 1960's.
Styling, maybe...but not even close on performance.
Get them now while they last.

If I could afford it, I totally would. It's pretty much the perfect car.

Ran into a rebadged SS recently as well:

I am not so easily replaced by an insurance check, thank you very much.

Don’t know about that, but you should insure your Instagram ‘cause that shit’s gold.

It’s apparently crazy expensive compared to the rest. To do it right (not create an airbag powered projectile) you need to swap the whole bag, not just the plastic badge.

Obviously it’s the new Peugeot 608...

Saw one of these near Philly, same color, too (tho PA plate).
The Holden badge is fugly.

Better than the cast stock 16s.

I thought it was my SS from the pictures. Until I saw the tag.

You can buy it with Holden center caps
I like the rebadge, but it should look like
